"SPRING DAY"

Hello!
Thanks for visiting today! I want to share with you a project I made for a challenge  I am doing. It revolves around anything with flowers. I used the Big Shot to make the favor boxes and most of the flowers. I used some floral oasis to hold the flowers upright in each box. However I did not make the paper shred that came from the dollar store!Hope you like my SPRING creation. Tonight I will be working on my 3D swaps for convention.

As for the chocolate tonight I will be making chocolate cupcakes and orange cupcakes. Can't wait to see what I come up with for the chocolate decoration.Quarter Auction At Rosedale Gardens Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 7pm. Leave a comment for more information.
Have a krafty night, I know I will!

Animal Share

Hello!
Thanks for visiting today. I decided to take the animal challenge from the LNS group. I started with a simple plain gift bag and then used the spritzing tool to create a chocolate chip background. I then assigned colors to all of the animals in the Fox & Friends stamp set. I used the Big Shot to make and emboss the letters. I backed the images up with coordinating punches. I used the 2 tags die as well to make the fox gift tag. If you look closely, the owl is also hanging with linen thread from the bag handle. To create more interest I then stamped 4 pieces of tissue paper with all of the animals. The card was easy to create since the bag was already finished. Now it needs to be filled with a baby gift. Luckily my friend Diane is having a boy and her shower is next week!

As for the chocolate...... Quarter Auction on Friday April 8 at Zion United Church of Christ

A few days off !!!!

Hello All!
I am so excited for the next few days as I am off from the full time job. I am going on a "scrappin" weekend at Camp Donegal and I am not even a big scrapper!!! I will be working on cards and 3D projects which I will post once they are finished. And I finally purchased Stampin Up!s  My Digital Studio. I am so excited to use it and now I have time to devote to it. Today's share was inspired by my friend Nancy. It is her birthday and all I know about her home decor is the yellow wall I see in the background of all her little girls pictures. I made a cute tealight holder from DSP and roofers flashing. It was cased from a project I got from Ella Kump. I already had a cute cupcake box so I filled it with paper shred and chocolate scented candles. The card was cased from the dress card I posted last week. I used the double scallop die. circle and oval punches to make the dress.
As for the chocolate, I also made up a chocolate covered goodie bag for Nancy to enjoy. I gave her a white chocolate raspberry mix and told her to add rum and ice, YUMMY!!! Her eyes lit up!!!
That's all for now. Hope you enjoy my Krafty treats!!!

Feelin' Krafty

Hello All!
Well I'm feelin kinda krafty after all of the response to my card share on the Yahoo group. Everyone seems to like the card I cased from a 3D swap I received at Convention last year. I used the scallop square die and our holiday edition fabric. I made 10 cards for a swap at our monthly meeting. Ironically when i arrived at the meeting there were several card and fabric demos!!

As for the chocolate..... I am crazy about cupcakes lately. Have a batch of chocolate minis cooling right now. They will be frosted with whipped vanilla frosting, dusted with raspberry dusting powder and topped with milk chocolate shavings. Yummy!! They are a reward fro one of my employees at work for a job well done!

Think that is all for now. Hope you enjoy my krafty sample!!!

So I am gonna move onto another project. One of this weeks challenges on the Yahoo Group is cards and projects using the Big Shot. So i am off to try again..... lets see what I come up with.

Hello!
Welcome to my blog. This is my very first post and I am so excited to share all of my krafty creations with you. One of my new years resolutions was to create some type of project daily. Well it has been a bit of a challenge but it keeps my creative juices flowing and most of all relieves some of the stress from my full time job. The next few daily posts will focus on 10 projects I made with 2 sheets of 12x12 DSP. Hope you like them. Now I just need to figure out how to post the pics!!!
